Parent Committee
The parent committee (foreldrerådet velger et arbeidsutvalg – FAU) works to expand communication between the school, parents/ guardians, families and the outside community. The parent council will hold regular meetings and one member of the parent council will assume the duty as attending the Board of Directors meetings. He/she will be able to relay parents’ concerns and views to the Board, and in return, be able to share information from the Board with the parent council.
All parents are encouraged to express general ideas, concerns and suggestions about the school through their elected parent representatives. Becoming involved in the Parent Council and/or its activities is an excellent way for the new parents to meet others and to become part of the Fagerhaug International School community.
