Welcome to Fagerhaug International School

Fagerhaug International School is a fast-growing school in Stjørdal. It opened its doors in August 2013, becoming the first international school in North Trondelag. For the 2022/2023 school year there are 133 students with full capacity being 150 students.

Admission policies

Fagerhaug International school follows a policy for admission based on the section 1-3 in the Free School Act, and according to the regulations set by the school board.

School fees

According to the Charter School Act, the school can have fees that are equal to or less than 15% of a school placement.

Fagerhaug is a starting point for being prepared for life

Joe Klumper was born and raised in Minnesota, USA. He was exposed to Norwegian culture already growing up, as the people in Minnesota have a lot of Norwegian blood in the years since the great emigration in the second half of the 19th century.
